Ark Academy was founded on the principles of giving and sharing. In 2011 Shaykh Saad Al- Attas, now principal and director of Ark Academy, recognised the need to bring about change to the understanding of Tajweed, a subject that he felt lacked importance and had been neglected by many Muslim communities. He then set out to compile a booklet of basic rules of Tajweed and began teaching it immediately. What started in the heart of West Yorkshire, has now spread across UK and other parts of the world. About Us
Ark Academy believes learning one's religion should be exciting, so it takes an alternative approach to the traditional madrassas. Ark Academy focuses on tailored classes for children to suit their individual needs. With different syllabus aimed at different age groups, Ark Academy has an education program for young kids all the way up to advanced learning with adults.
